I want to capture the true essence of Orkney life with a focus on rural life in the islands.
I'm Simon Brown a photographer living in Orkney. Orkney is an archipelago of islands off the north coast of Scotland UK. We sit at around 59 Degrees North and so have some challenging and dramatic weather which shapes the landscape and the people and offers a unique environment.
"Focus On Orkney" is a window to showcase life in Orkney through my own lens. You are more than welcome to join me throughout the year in my journey through the seasons.
